Scot has been in commercial service for nearly four decades, having started in 1989. He has a background in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and most areas of construction. In 2011, Scot started a full-service security company because he noticed the service mentality was slipping from the construction industry. He wanted to offer customers the kind of service he was accustomed to providing.

Then, in 2025, he founded a new company called 1Point Electric, LLC to offer superior service to electrical customers in Alabama and beyond. Since the beginning, customer service has been his focus. Answering concerns and attending to customer needs is what keeps Scot moving forward, and he works to instill these values in each and every employee.
